What KimaAI is not
KimaAI is an integration layer for AI models—not a guarantee of perfect answers.
- It doesn’t guarantee accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content, and you’re responsible for reviewing and managing outputs.
- It’s not a full helpdesk/ticketing system (no built-in inbox workflows, agents, SLAs, etc.). It can assist with support-style conversations, but it’s not a replacement for dedicated support platforms.
- It’s not a lead-capture/CRM plugin by default (no native gated content or email marketing automations out of the box).
What you pay for
1) AI provider costs (separate)
To use AI features, you’ll need to bring your own API key from the AI provider you choose (OpenAI, Azure-based services, and others). Any usage fees are paid to that provider under their terms—not to KimaAI.
2) KimaAI plugin (Free vs Pro)
KimaAI has a free version, and Pro plans that unlock all Pro features plus updates/support based on your license tier.
